The Music scene in Graz is colourful and lively. Classical stars such as Alexander Girardi and Karl Böhm are associated with Graz, as are the “Schlager” singer Andreas Gabalier and countless street musicians. Many stories can be told about the greats of the Austropop scene and their wild nights in Graz, as well as about legendary rock cellars and jazz concerts that regularly provide city talk. Graz is the city of “Latin Night”, “Styriarte”, “Schlagergarten Gloria”, “Elevate”, “Metal on the hill” and the “Bauernbundball”. You simply have to hear these so different sounds and musical anecdotes from Graz.
This is the liveliest and sometimes loudest tour of the city, which leaves out no genre of music – whether it’s good for your ears or not. We tell you some stories of wild party nights, provide dozens of audio samples, reminisce and tell you what is being heard today. We will give you informations about the Graz Opera as well as about the “Mausefalle” and the “Explosiv”. Event tips, local recommendations and a broadening of horizons are of course included.

What is a “free tour”?
The free tours take place on pre-set dates with a minimum of 10 participants. You can decide how much you want to pay! If you like the tour, we will be happy to receive an appropriate tip at the end of the tour.
What is a “young tour”?
Our young tours are customisable thematic tours. The content couldn’t be more different and neither could our guides. But what’s best – our Young Tours may be combined, extended, and altered – please feel free to specify the date, time, meeting point etc.
NB: Unlike our free tours, our young tours are not held free of charge but instead customized to your liking.
