The somewhat different Advent tour would also put the Grinch in the Christmas mood. Christmas lights and Christmas markets spread just as much good cheer here as the scent of foreign spices and a mug of “hot-makava”. A stroll through the crazy “Circus-Wonder-Lend” and the Griesviertel will surprise you, because the pre-Christmas season in Graz can be so versatile. Where can you find Christmas presents “made in Graz”? How do homeless people spend Christmas? What upsets and what calms? What is the talk of the town again this year? Practical tips about Christmas (for example, how to discreetly get rid of unpopular Christmas presents) or what should definitely not be missing from the festive meal are of course included. A tour with whimsical, peaceful, glittering, even a little kitschy and exciting stories about the most wonderful time of the year.
A city walk that spreads Christmas spirit, is heart-warming, fun and festive at the same time, is probably the ideal way to get in the mood for the Christmas party with friends and colleagues or the supporting programme around company dinners and family reunions. With music, hot makava to go and Advent stories from all over the world, with strolling and chatting off the hectic tourist paths, this is how we get in the mood for the Christmas holidays together and are already slowly saying goodbye to an exciting year.

What is a “free tour”?
The free tours take place on pre-set dates with a minimum of 10 participants. You can decide how much you want to pay! If you like the tour, we will be happy to receive an appropriate tip at the end of the tour.
What is a “young tour”?
Our young tours are customisable thematic tours. The content couldn’t be more different and neither could our guides. But what’s best – our Young Tours may be combined, extended, and altered – please feel free to specify the date, time, meeting point etc.
NB: Unlike our free tours, our young tours are not held free of charge but instead customized to your liking.
