#58 Spring in Graz

It’s time to explore the city equipped with a camera or paper. Because you can take such beautiful pictures when the sights of Graz are surrounded by spring flowers. We reveal a few corners with particularly beautiful views here. And beware, there are of course many more flower meadows to discover.
Spring in Graz:
1
Gardens
In Geidorf, St. Leonhard, but also in other districts, you can find picturesque front gardens and private gardens that you don't even have to take care of, because they look perfect even without human intervention. Our favourite is what we call the `Blümchenvilla` in Plüddemanngasse.
2
University of music and performing arts
There is a small park in front of Palais Meran. If you take a closer look, you will discover that the park is currently full of snowdrops. Students will soon be enjoying the sunshine on the benches with a particularly beautiful view.
3
Burggarten
The Burggarten is somewhat hidden behind Graz Castle and can probably call itself the ‘most beautiful park in Graz’. If you look hard enough, you can find spring flowers in front of the Clock Tower, the Orangery or Graz Castle.
4
Botanical Gardens
Around the so-called `Seufzerallee` you can`t stop marvelling and sighing, the old villas and their gardens are so beautiful. The Botanical Gardens are worth a visit at any time of year, but now the glass houses are growing together with a colourful spring meadow, which looks simply amazing.
