Anyone for a beer or a glass of wine? We drop into some legendary bars of Graz, take a drink there, hear some hilarious drunk stories, and get to know a Graz original. You could also call this a “pub rallye” or “pub crawl” – it will be fun for sure. Whatever happens on this tour, we won’t tell anyone – and what you plan for afterwards is up to you, the night is young!
This tour is about more than just the history or the first-time sights of Graz, neither about art and design, and no year dates are mentioned. No monologue or lecture – we want YOU to be part of the game. The tour is about socializing and drink, and having a good time. So come along for a good laugh and a nice chat, a walk guided and accompanied by entertaining stories.

What is a “Young Tour”?
Our Young Tours are customizable thematic tours. The contents couldn’t be more diverse and our guests are too. In this case ‘young’ does of course less refer to the age of the visitor than to the age of the guide and the young-spirited walks around our city. But what’s best – our Young Tours may be combined, extended, and altered – please feel free to specify the date, time, meeting point etc. We will try to make it all possible, after a short talk with you. We will gladly advise you and make sure we find exactly what you need for your company outing, family meeting, birthday, hen’s or stag’s night, or any other occasion. We are the youngest guides in Graz and rock the city with our fresh, wild walking tours and ideas.
NB: Unlike our Free Tours, our Young Tours are not held free of charge but instead customized to your liking.
How to find the guide?
The guide will wait at the arranged place and time, wearing a discover Graz bag or t-shirt, and will walk up to you. For the arranged meeting point, please refer to our website or to our confirmation e-mail.
What do we mean by “upon request”?
You may book any tour upon your own wishes for a fixed rate. Please give us the date, time, and number of persons you wish to bring and we will arrange the rest together. Discover Graz will be pleased to inform you about what best suits you and your group’s needs and wishes. There is no minimum for the number of participants but we do have an upper limit that will, however, vary according to the type of tour you book.

Can I book a Free Tour at a special date?
Our Free Tours are exclusively run on scheduled dates. Up to 30 people may attend and it is easy to register via our website. For a Graz city tour, Schlossberg tour, or “Eerily beautiful” tour on special dates, or for any private tour on these themes, you will have to pay the usual rate.

Public tours and individual participant, or private tour and group?
All our Free Tours are publicly accessible and held on scheduled dates. All you need is to register, turn up at the meeting point, and come along – it’s as simple as that. If you are a group and wish to remain to yourselves and/or if you have special wishes regarding the tour, then we recommend to book a private tour. We are looking forward to inform you about what best suits your specific needs.

Can I book a customized tour?
No problem at all. You are completely free to specify your favourite meeting point, route, stops, breaks, themes, districts etc. you wish to visit. You plan a guided tour for a special occasion? You have an idea for a tour through your own district? You want the tour to end at a special location? You want us to organize an excursion outside of Graz? You are staying in town for a week and wish to see different things here? Don’t hesitate to ask! We at Discover Graz try to fulfil all your wishes, or almost. There is always something to discover.

Is the tour barrier-free?
We give tours on different routes. Each tour may be altered upon request to become a barrier-free tour. Most tours, however, are not automatically barrier-free.

Is the tour suitable for children?
We offer special kid’s tours that are tailored to children’s needs. There are also other tours that kids may attend, even though intended for adults. Some tours, however, such as “Pub Rallye`` are not suitable for kids or youngsters. For more info and the recommended age, please refer to our tour descriptions.
